Freelance Designer/Network Coordinator

  • Established a studio partnership based on multi-disciplined approached to architecture, interior design, graphic design, and the visual arts
  • Collaborated on project for The American College of Healthcare Architects encompassing a redesign of existing newsletter, e-memo, brochure, a graphic guideline booklet and new designs for promotional banners
  • Completed a design competition project “The Classroom Of The Future”, sponsored by the non-profit group Open Architecture Network

  • 5 1/2 years of architecture knowledge and experience with over 40 projects.
  • In a junior designer role, I successfully created unique architectural designs for medical facilities, medical office buildings, professional office buildings and commercial projects that met and fulfilled the client’s expectations.
  • Developed presentation drawings and renderings for healthcare, retail and office projects to successfully sell the project ideas to clients and design boards.
  • One of my responsibilities to the firm also included marketing projects such as graphic layout and cover designs of SOQs, RFQs and office brochures. This helped CMW Architects in the acquisition of several healthcare projects.
  • In the role of job captain, responsibilities included supporting and assisting the lead Architect in all phases of a project.
  • Completed a successful healthcare project involving the production and coordination of construction documents through the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development within a time efficient schedule.
  • Participated in the firm’s IPD project delivery program that included implementing the BIM concept with the Adobe Revit software.
  • Showed proficiency with Revit by completing a schematic-design drawing set for submittal through the city’s entitlement process.

  • Tasks included assisting professors with the Design I and Design II studios. Provided students with tutorials on design concepts, graphic skills, scale modeling and drafting.
  • Offering essential constructive criticism on student projects in order to encourage design refinements also helped me in sharpening a critical eye towards my own design projects.

  • My duties included providing design consultation on high end residential projects
  • Assisted in the implementation of a design and drafting system for Lennar Incorporated Sarasota Division involving over 20 speculative homes.
  • Focused in the production of hand drawn and CAD drawings from preliminary design to construction documents.
  • Implemented computer 3D modeling for presentation renderings.This skill has since become an integral part of my professional repertoire.
