Deployed portfolio of technical models and methods used to increase business decision confidence and decrease innovation time. Managed all Upstream face initiatives, driving project direction by leveraging deep consumer knowledge and methods mastery.

  • Created and deployed a portfolio of consumer-to-technical models as the Global Face Category Modeling Leader, increasing business decision confidence while decreasing technical testing time. This program will drive the face initiative pipeline for the next decade generating a projected $350-400MM NOS.
  • Managed two upstream face initiatives leveraging consumer insights and technical methods mastery to design, and execute qualitative, quantitative, and clinical in-vivo studies, defining product development direction with an estimated NOS of $100MM.
  • Increased organizational capacity by designing and building novel methods and collaborating with cross category color experts and suppliers to exhibit new equipment, techniques, and tools; improving method precision and decreasing data acquisition time.

Led the design and delivery of new and improved face products to the COVERGIRL portfolio.  Provided technical methods expertise to initiative teams for program blockbusters.  Led the global face technical methods organization.

  • Created and executed the strategic technical methods plan for three blockbuster foundation initiatives enabling robust claim support resulting in $80MM in NOS.  Nominated for the CEO Award and received the highest award for Products Researchers in P&G (2014 PR Star Award). New blockbuster foundation received Allure magazine's Beauty Breakthrough award in 2014 and was featured on NBC's Today show.
  • Led the global face technical methods organization which enabled end-to-end method development, collaboration, strategic planning, and recognition of team members across seven global technical centers.  Served as the face proctor on the claims review board and provided technical feedback to claim support strategies to ensure defensible support.
  • Added $17MM in NOS by leading the design and delivery of six complementary face products; one winning Allure magazine's Best of Beauty awards in 2014.
  • Primary contributor in the design and analysis of a proprietary consumer-to-technical benchmarking study to grow the face segment.  Received special recognition from the Beauty Care Senior Vice President.
  • Drove the increased use of the color cosmetic sensory descriptive analysis panel.  Led the development of six new sensory attributes for the face and lip segments which enabled claims support, prototype screening, and statistical model development.
  • Led the North America Consumer Comments response team which conducted all consumer complaint investigations.  Implemented a new system to educate the consumer relations team on new initiatives two quarters prior to market launch which improved response to in-market product complaints. Received special recognition from the Vice President of QA.

  • Produced consistent pass rate of over 97% which lead to the  advancement of specialized client assays that required neurological, human, animal, and other differentiated tissues. 
  • Root caused failed assays to minimize loss of testing resources and rewrote test protocols to ensure future success.
