Summary

I am an Oil and Gas Production Operations Specialist with over twenty seven (27+) years of diversified and solid experience, of which over seventeen (17+) years working overseas.

Although my career was based on a technical background in oil and gas production operations, I have gained an excellentexperience in management, supervisory, superintendent, commissioning, field start-up’s, production operations training and consultancy.

During my career, I have also been involved in process engineering and analysis contribution, SIMOPS supervisory and coordination, training, coaching and knowledge assessment. I have identified potential large savings in the application of production and maintenance procedures, I have proposed genuine process and management changes that had an impact on production increase with less deferment. I have coordinated production, drilling and construction SIMOPS on unmanned offshore platforms and onshore gathering stations which were not fully built or commissioned, allowing safe routine maintenance, well work-over’s and hook-up’s, installation of new manifold valves, laying-out and commissioning new pipelines whilst producing and delivering oil/gas to the terminal. I have wide experience in leadership roles, a high level of energy and motivation, and the ability to master quickly new skills and adapt to new situations. I have been actively involved in the management of change. I am used to developing good relationships and high level of communication skills with contractors and multi-nationals. I am computer literate. I speak and write fluently Arabic, French and English languages.

Production Operations Superintendent July 09 – Present

Exterran/ Shell Venture – Awoon Koula field - Gabon

·Responsible for liaising with the Operations Manager, Client representative, Production, Maintenance and logistics teams for planning medium and short term programs to ensure optimum production monthly targets are met

·Responsible for the safe execution of all work site activities.

·Responsible for the day to day operations of the entire Koula oilfield.

·Responsible for the start-up planning and operation (post commissioning) of the field.

·Report to the Operations Manager and / or to the Country Manager.

·Plan, organize and lead field personnel (locals and expatriate Supervisors).

·Manage all O&M operations, whilst taking lead of HSE management as "On-scene commander" and focal point for all emergencies and crisis when they happen. Decision-making authority throughout the area. Manage personnel safety and their on the job competences.

·Review, develop and amend operating procedures related to the start up, operations and stabilization of the facilities.

·Assist commissioning teams in the flawless commissioning and start up of the plant.

·Responsible for the training and development of personnel as when required.
