Summary

Hey everybody! My name is Mel Bishop and I am a full-time student at Minnesota State University-Mankato pursuing a BS in mass media and BFA in graphic design. Who says you can’t do both?

With the significant development of media convergence, the way society views and accesses information/media has changed as well as journalists’ role and expectations in communicating, connecting and relaying information. The merge of message and method and the evident parallels between mass communications and graphic design drove me to pursue both.
