Melanie Mays Kirk. Executive Biography

Melanie Mays Kirk is the Co-founder and Director of Operations for Empyrean Consulting, Inc. She founded Empyrean Consulting, Inc in the fall of 1997. She had a vision to do recruiting the right way. Her vision incorporated high ideals and recruiting - to be a recruiting company you could trust to do the right thing. She has been a recruiter/account manager to private and public sector clients since 1995. She has recruited for Start-ups to Fortune-100 clients and was nominated for Small Business of the Year by the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce in the year 2000.  Her company was listed as one of the fastest growing companies in the US.  She has the following Groups and Associations:  Chi Omega Sorority, HUB certified- National and Southwest, WMBE Woman and Minority Business Enterprise Certification- National and Southwest.

She previously taught Biological Sciences and Mathematics for the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District. She was the Science Coordinator as well as a team lead. She assisted in Science curriculum development. She was voted best teacher by the P.T.A. in 1994. She holds a Bachelors degree from University of North Texas. She holds a teaching certificate from the State of Texas to teach Biological Sciences.

Melanie Mays Kirk believes that it is a blessing that she can combine her passion for Information Technology with Biological Sciences.  As well as being a multi-million dollar producer, she loves to pass on the gift of knowledge to others.

Melanie Kirk developed a Biotech Curriculum for recruiters.  Her instructional philosophy is hands-on. She believes that if you see it, feel it, experience it, you learn it.
