Applied institutional policies and criteria in the evaluation/approval of requests for donations and institutional proposals for community development projects, in conjunction with the Executive Director. Participated actively, in the formulation and implementation of strategies and the scheduling for follow-up activities relative to the stages of evaluation, approval and implementation of projects and requests for donation submitted to the institution, all under the institutional guidelines for the program areas of Education, Health, Culture and Natural Resource Management. Designed, coded and implemented an Automated System for Projects Follow-up (“SSP”). This system soon became the institutional tool for following-up on project proposals and requests for donation. As a consequence of its successful implementation, the President of Falconbridge Dominicana at that time, requested the implementation of this system for the Public Relations arm of the company.

Main responsibilities were: supporting and influencing the decision-making process of foreign investors/prospects, with respect to setting up manufacturing operations at Industrial Free Trade Zones in the Dominican Republic; ensuring the efficient provision of information in response to inquiries, by selecting and using the appropriate information sources as well as the country promotional material developed by the institution. Generated contacts/prospects along with other Investment Counselors in charge of other industry sector-specific promotional programs, through “cold calls”, mailing campaigns and through participation at industrial trade fairs abroad. For three consecutive years and twice each year, successfully organized the participation of an average of 12 footwear manufacturers established in the country (both nationals and foreigners), at the “National Shoe Fair of America”, in New York.
