Direct all aspects of special event strategic planning and execution as assigned by the executive director

  • Co-Chairperson of Pope Francis Center Inaugural Fundraising Dinner in April 2017 that sold out to an attendee list of nearly 500 and netted over $110,000
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward corporate, community and individual support to meet event fundraising goals; recruit, coordinate and manage event committee and volunteers to insure benchmarks are met

  • Responsible for producing daily news content on site and mobile; strategically crafting social posts to increase SEO and site traffic and developing innovative social media content:
    • Coordinated partnership with Meijer resulting in $10K of aid for residents suffering through a heat wave and power outage


  • Detroit 2020 Committee Member; Produced stories on community members working to make Detroit a better city to work, live and play

Team Fox Volunteer Fundraiser

Raised $17K in less than 60 days while training for the 2015 Detroit Free Press Marathon. Funds were raised through micro-donations solicited using strategic social media marketing and communication. Effort was in tribute to my mom, diagnosed with PD in 2012.
