During college and throughout my professional experience, I have been required to write extensively concerning many different topics.  I am as comfortable writing business documents as I am writing literary analyses.  I also enjoy creative writing.

Languages (German and Arabic)

I have a strong command of the German language (speaking, reading, and writing).  I have a working knowledge of Arabic which includes familiarity with the Modern Standard and Egyptian dialects.  I am able to easily pick up new languages and enjoy learning as many as possible.

Public Speaking

I have been giving speaches since the age of twelve and have won awards for speech.  During college I gave over seventy-five presentations.  These presentations covered a wide range of topics from impromptu, business analysis and recommendations, marketing strategy, accounting analyses, and many more.  The presentations involved student, academic, and corporate audiences.

Summary

My name is Megan Welsh, and I am a Colorado native. I graduated from DU's 4-1 program with a Master's of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Management with minors in Accounting and Psychology. My work experience includes human resources, project management, and government affairs for the geospatial industry. Currenlty I am employed as a Senior Certification Analyst helping to design and deploy continuing education exams for the company. I have a strong command of the German language, as well as a working knowledge of Arabic (Modern Standard, Lebanese, and Egyptian dialects). I hope to be able to use my career experience, education, and language skills to bridge global gaps for my employer and further their success.

My career goals are to work in a capacity that I can help bring about the continued growth of the organization. I bring with me a love of learning that drives me to excel at any task I am assigned. I would like a position that allows me to use acquired language skills, enthusiasm for public speaking, passion for writing, and/or recent education to further an employer's success. Currently I am most interested in business strategy, planning, communications, public relations, and human resources.
