Flight Coordinator

As a flight coordinator my primary responsibility is to ensure each flight is conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations. Along with the pilot in command, I am responsible for operational control of each flight. I must ensure the crew, aircraft, passengers, and operating environment are all in accordance with the CFRs, AJI policies and procedures, and Operations Specifications. To do this I must verify the equipment assigned for each flight meets airworthiness standards, all pilots have had proper rest or are not in risk of exceeding duty times, all passengers have passed the No-Fly list, and weather allows for a safe flight. I am also responsible for quoting trips, managing the aircraft schedule, monitoring all incoming emails, assisting other departments, and monitoring 91 flights. Outside of my flight coordinator duties I also assist the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot in creating company forms, the hiring of new pilots, monitoring and updating company documents, the acquisition of new contracts and aircraft, and a variety of other tasks necessary for continued company growth.
