I am a motivated 27 year old seeking to obtain a position that will enable me to use my strong organizational skills, problem solving abilities, ability to work well and communicate with others, and display my outstanding work ethic.  I am excited to be going into the Fire/EMS Service as a  career and I am looking for a Fire Department with the tradition and history I so admire in the Fire Service. I look forward to giving back to the community to which I serve on a Fire Department, for what I hope is long and healthy career.

I am a very active individual and love doing anything outdoors.  My main interests would be sports including baseball, basketball, and golf.  All three of which I play regularly either organized or just for fun.  I grew up spending an abundant amount of my summers on Washington Island, WI. So anything to do with water or the outdoors I love.  Whether it is fishing, canoeing, hanging out on the beach, or going for a run with my dog (Murray). Other than hobbies, I love spending time with friends, family, and girlfriend (Hilary). I have two young nephews and a niece in Southern California I love going to see as much as I can. They are quite the hand full for my older sister (Sarah). They are 5 (Breckin), 3 (Harper), and 1 (Knox) years old.

Grafton Fire Department

I began working for Grafton Fire Department in early April. The department became an ALS department as of April 1, 2015. It has been a pleasure working there and experiencing the rapid growth happening within the department as they move forward with providing ALS level care. I work 24 hours a week on a Day Crew. The Day Crew operates much like a full time Fire Department crew does. We have daily station duties, rig checks, and responsibilities not unlike other Fire Departments, all while responding to calls throughout the day. I also work On Call hours as well for the Department. As a crewmember on Day Shift or On Call, I deliver patient care in a safe, efficient, and courteous manor to the citizens, visitors, and businesses of Grafton.
