I enjoy the challenges of working with social media and as a community manager for Canon I feel my skills can really be put to use. As a hobbyist photographer, I can relate to the community and connect with them in a natural manner rather than interrupting them.  Having performed the role of photographer and film crew as part of my current role, I also sympathise with the challenges professional users face daily. 

I see this role as an opportunity to further refine my skills while helping Canon connect with online communities and activate them as brand advocates. 


Social Media Tools 

Expertise in utilising various tools for analytics, content curation & creation, monitoring. scheduling, listening. engaging and publishing.  A typical day involves Sprout Social for monitoring/engagement/analytics, Buzzsumo for content/listening, Followerwonk for determining best posting times/follower breakdowns and the analytics platforms of the networks in addition to others.

Social Media Advertising

Proficiency with creation and targeting of ad campaigns on Facebook & Twitter. Through correct targeting, a recent Twitter ad campaign returned a conversion rate of 66% of high-quality entrants.  

Community Growth & Engagement

Experienced in growing a client's social media community from scratch and managing an existing community. For example, utilising various tactics to grow a client's Twitter account by just under 50% in Two months.
