Summary

Maxime has spent the last 12 years leading engineering organizations in diverse industries such as medical, aerospace, robotics, A/V or fintech.

Either as an external consultant or as part of a management team, Maxime specializes in making work, ideas, problems but also people visible in the organization. That entails deep and strategic understanding of change management in diverse cultures, industries and geographies.

For more than a decade he has helped organizations kickstart, deploy, scale autonomous product teams, locally and globally, from scale-ups to large corporations.

To that end he has developed impactful team development consulting programs, through his company Entervals and his branded method TeamPitfalls® .

Maxime finds his passion in pushing the boundaries of Lean & Agile product development approaches involving deep usage of strategic play techniques.

He lives and works by this quote attributed to Plato:

"You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation."

TeamPitfalls® - Leadership Team Development Method

Brussels, Belgium

We have created, developed and currently market the TeamPitfalls® method for leadership team development during 1-day or 2-day seminars in Europe for executive or management teams.

https://teampitfalls.com/method/#testimonials

We are now (2019) certifying other professionals to propose this method in Europe as Licensed Facilitators.

Brief history:

After 10 years managing international teams in diverse fields such as medical, aerospace, robotics or fintech, Maxime Castéra developed the TeamPitfalls® method to challenge his teams and force them out of their comfort zone.

The LEGO® robot is used as a proxy for a product being developed and contributes to exposing team members to people, technical, planning or even political issues well known in a corporate project, but in a safe and feedback-friendly environment.
The key learning is no-one can succeed alone, the answer is in the Team.
