Max Crumit - Strategic Development Professional in Transportation

About Max Crumit

As a business and strategic consultant, Max Crumit uses his transportation-industry acumen to support the growth of organizations across the United States. He comes to this role following a successful tenure as the strategic program development director of C2M Hill, where he assessed and developed growth opportunities to make full use of company capabilities. Max Crumit accepted this position in the fall of 2013, having at the time completed at two-year tenure as the executive director of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority.

Appointed to this position during a time of organizational redevelopment and public-image building, Max Crumit finalized arrangements to complete Orlando's circumferential beltway. He also carried out a formal analysis of agency finances and worked toward reducing the amount of SWAPs, all in an effort to secure financial independence. As a result of his efforts, local media acknowledged his success in bringing transparency to the organization.

Max Crumit earlier distinguished himself as a senior vice president with Reynolds, Smith & Hills, a facilities and infrastructure firm, and as the president of transportation for PBS & J, a subsidiary of the PBSJ Corporation. He directed PBS & J's general consultancy contract with Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, a business unit of the Florida Department of Transportation, and designed new roadways and parking facilities for Disney/MGM Studios theme park as well. Mr. Crumit holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida.
