Microsoft Office

Excel -- I have used Excel extensively for nearly 15 years, have continued to expand my knowledge base and hone my skills through various training classes focusing on analytical techniques.  I'm well versed in functions, formulas, and macros.  I can perform minor adjustments to VBA code as well.   PowerPoint -- I have also used PowerPoint extensively over the past 10 years to communicate project findings and recommendations to various audiences.  I am very comfortable with the application capabilities such as animation, slide timing, and speaker notes.  The combination of PowerPoint and large screens television within most conference rooms today make these presentations significantly more impactful than typical hard copies.   Outlook -- Although I've used Outlook for email and calendar functions for the past 10 years, I've recently starting using the Task functionality to enhance my organization and productivity.

My experience at Marriott has allowed me to become highly proficient with this accounting and reporting software.  I have used both the legacy version which resides on a corporate server as well as the current, web-based version.  Although I have several years experience using the Journal Entry and Query capabilities, I primarily use the nVision reporting functionality.  By combining my Excel modeling knowledge with my knowledge of nVision, I am able to build complex reports and models which can be updated with the mst recent operating results at the click of a button.
