Prezis are a new and growing way to present information. I started using Prezis in the summer of 2011 and have since found them to be a very unique and effective way to make connections between ideas. I have also found my audiences to be more interactive when presenting information via Prezi rather than creating a traditional PowerPoint.
Other spreadsheets that represent my skills in Excel are available by request. These additional spreadsheets cannot be uploaded to VisualCV due to the fact that they are macro enabled workbooks. These spreadsheets will show my competency in writing basic Visual Basic formulas and simple loops.
I am currently finishing my double major in accounting and finance at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. My areas of focus have been in financial modeling and investments (specifically technical analysis). Outside of class, I have also focused on building excellent communication skills by becoming involved in various activities on campus and in the community. Examples of this include:
I am also currently preparing an oral presentation on my undergraduate research that will be presented at UW-La Crosse's 2012 Celebration of Student Research and Creativity.
"The BEST presentation was very well put together and I think that the limited amount of time that Bo spent on the slides was good in that it provided ample time for discussion at the end.
I also thought that Matt did very well with facilitating the follow-up conversation. They were both well prepared and knew their stuff but weren't afraid to talk about the weaknesses that are
inherent with a new program like BEST."
"Good flow to the presentation. Gave staff a good base of knowledge for what is going on."
"This was excellent. The group that presented this did a great job explaining their expectations and what the rec wants to improve on."
