I am a Dutch native who made Bergen Norway his new home together with my Norwegian wife and son. An hotelier by birth who  - before moving to Norway in 2014 - formed part of the executive management team of an independent hotel management company in Johannesburg South Africa.

Before taking on this challenge I fulfilled different roles for organisations both in and outside the hospitality industry, resulting in a varied international professional background in hotel management & consulting. 

My core business competencies are concept development, process (re) design, communication, quality management and talent management. My career focus is on hotel management, process / product innovation, concept development and project management.

Key achievements:

  • Successful lead generation in new markets.
