Summary

I am a Dutch native who made Bergen Norway his new home in 2014, together with my Norwegian wife and 2 sons. An hotelier and restaurateur by birth who - before moving to Norway - formed part of the executive management team of an independent hotel management company in Johannesburg South Africa

Before taking on this challenge I fulfilled different managerial roles for organisations both in and outside the hospitality industry, resulting in a varied international professional background in hospitality management & consulting. 

My career focus is on obtaining a managerial role in operations of HMSHOST-Umoe F&B Company AS, or add value within a support function such as brand management, quality management, HR, facility process / product innovation, concept development , cost control, revenue management and project management.

  • Successful in building a loyal & motivated team, resulting in a better and consistent guest experience.
