About Me

I recently made a change in careers and moved away from supply-chain systems to work more on the technical end of what my degree comprised by working for the Tarrant Regional Water District as an Engineering Technician.I am an extremely hard working individual with diversified management experience in purchasing, inventory control systems, logistical operations, and customer service. I am motivated, analytical, and detail orientated in the utilization of operational and management concepts. Also I am adept at managing a variety of tasks and busy schedules. •Trained in: Laser Rangefinder, Theodolite, TSC2, TSC3• Currently working on a Geometric Network Project for coming up with a visual model of the pipelines and their major valves to show the water movement as valves are opened and closed• Presented to a middle school about surveying that created interest at the school for other people from TRWD to come talk about other subjects•I trained two field operations personnel how to use TSC2 and base station for pipeline survey •I was able to go from zero experience in surveying to being completely self-sufficient with the surveying equipment in 3 Months•I am assisting Engineering Instrument Tech with her readings and have learned how to do all of the instruments on my own for backup purposes if necessary•I have become the “de-facto expert” on Trimble Business Center, the program for bringing in the survey measurements from our controllers and turning them into information for use in the ArcGIS programs•Working with Land Department for surveying and marking off exisiting property lines along with surveying to confirm accuracy of measurements he has taken•Working with GIS department: I surveying the information that is being called for in and give her the measurements to add to the Utility Mapper for consumption by the rest of the District as needed
