As a Sales Associate at All Factory Wheels in Freeport, New York, Matthew Madacsi has been putting into practice the lessons and experiences learned during his education. At All Factory Wheels, Matthew Madacsi is responsible for the helping the company achieve increases in sales through his management of the processes associated with sales orders and logistics. Prior to his employment at All Factory Wheels, Matthew Madacsi also had practical experience as a purchasing intern for Leake and Watts Services, Inc. With offices in Yonkers and the Bronx, the non-profit organization has offered numerous community support programs since its inception in 1831. The well-established 501(c)3 charity has expanded its scope of assistance to include educational services for children, support to children and adults with developmental disabilities, physical and mental health services, and assistance for juvenile justice.In order to accomplish the multitude of objectives laid out in their mission, Leake and Watts Service, Inc., need employees to facilitate community support programs. In the summer of 2010, Matthew Madacsi assisted the non-profit in his role as an intern. He drew from his classroom experiences to help Leake and Watts manage purchases, which totaled approximately $1.3 million. Through analysis of purchase histories and application of competitive bidding techniques, Matthew Madacsi had a significant impact on the charity’s cost savings. He was able to expand the organization’s knowledge base about purchasing theory and techniques while working on the details of purchase requisitions and orders. Matthew Madacsi currently resides in Rockville Centre, New York, and has lived in the state since his youth. Born and raised on Long Island, Matthew Madacsi attended Chaminade High School in Mineola where he excelled in football and lacrosse. Prior to his acceptance into the prestigious college preparatory school, Matthew Madacsi lost his father to a battle with stomach cancer. While it was a traumatic life experience for him, Matthew Madacsi has acknowledged the strength and motivation he has gained from it. He uses those qualities to continue to strive for personal and professional success.
