Director of Church Operations (September 2006 – 2013)
·Responsible for the Development Department.
·Manage human and financial resources through the development of an annual budget and development/fundraising strategies.
·Administering organizational policies and procedures necessary for the efficient functioning of the department. Provide leadership, direction, management and training for department staff in the development and implementation of departmental plans.
·Perform personnel management of Volunteer Manager, Planned Giving Manager, Grants Development Manager and a Development Manager. Functions include employment/termination, performance appraisal, training, supervision, compensation changes.
·Ensure and oversee the preparation of reports for finance, donor development and fundraising strategy status.
·Ability to develop effective work teams and build consensus within the organization and community.
·Self-taught Raiser’s Edge ® donor software and function as database administrator.
