Haircare Retail Sales
With a passion for hair care and beauty products and a belief they are as necessary as air, I inspire others to take home the recommended liquid tools in an iron-clad, step-by-step system I have perfected over the years. I educate myself on the salon's available product lines and their ingredients so that I can answer every question possible, and give honest answers. From consultation to pre-booking, there is a unique relationship created between myself and the client. This results in beautiful hair, happy clients, and a guarantee for repeat business.
Organization and Time Management
Scheduling, booking, providing services and client inquiries requires efficiency and punctuality. It is necessary to multi-task while making sure everyone's needs and schedules stay top priority.
Inventory Management
Having recently been an independent contractor and small business owner, it was imperative to keep detailed records of salon hair color, chemical texturizing, stylist and client retail, as well as an assorted selection of client favorite beverages from Japanese beer to Coconut water. I believe attention to detail can set you apart, and possibly make a day.  Keeping stock of all of these items play a key role in business efficiency.
Team Leadership
Having been an educator and trainer, it has been my responsibility to walk an individual from start to finish in company expectations, implementation of various systems, and inspire and motivate so the team produces together. I've helped others to be self-structuring, so that "micro-managing" is not necessary. This would create a positive morale and a breeding ground for success.

Developed a large and devoted clientele with a 6 week solid wait list. When I was not attending education in New York City for Bumble and Bumble or at Redken Exchange to lead my team in staying current with new trends and techniques, I developed a new hire/apprenticeship program and training manual that consisted of foundation hair cutting, color theory, and basic hair color application and technique guidelines. I also taught each department (studio/make-up, spa, nail technicians, and salon staff) on the value and importance of selling retail and implementing strategies that worked for each individual. Consistently one of the top producers and the top retailer for this location.
