I am a thirty year old highly motivated, punctual and hard-working person with the skills and motivation to fulfil my life goals. I work hard to achieve my aims and have good knowledge of the skills needed in order to operate a successful Bed and Breakfast business. My primary aim is to work for my success and provide customers with the best hospitality possible.

Kitchen Assistant

I worked weekends and some evenings at a large restaurant situated in Warrenpoint. It was here I put my culinary skills into practise as my main position was that of a kitchen assistant. Here I learnt the art of preparing and presenting foods and ensuring all Health and Safety procedures were correctly followed. I was often put in charge of cleaning duties and regularly took count of the stock.

Mini's Boutique Hotel

In the summer of 2009 I travelled to Boston where I worked in a boutique hotel for the busy summer months. This opportunity gave me the experience in working with many different members of the public and allowed me to develop my hospitality skills even further. This opportunity also allowed me to work with money, take phone calls, manage bookings and have an input in staff rotas.

Recurring BallyEdmond Cottage From around age 14 on I worked in a Bed and Breakfast run by my aunt. Roles I undertook were:


-Preparing Beds

-Greeting guests

-Guided tours around the Bed and Breakfast

I have a very high interest in working with members of the general public and being able to provide them with the upmost hospitality. I have grown up observing my aunt and how she runs her Bed and Breakfast business and I am very interested in opening my own business or working in a business like this in the future. I have a passion for keeping people satisfied and hope to achieve this through the running of my own business some day.
