Customer Service / Sales / Territory Manager

About Me

I am currently working as a territory manager with New Zealand Movers. I manage the whole Auckland region. When a client is looking at relocating I go to their home or office and use a consultative selling process to ascertain what services may be required. As there is fierce competition in the moving industry I have to use my personality to make my self stand out from the crowd.  Once I have won the sale I then manage their shift through to completion. 

I started working in sales and customer service at Brand Developers, trading as the TV shop about 6 years ago. While I was there I broke a record for the most sales in a single 8 hour shift, with my sales totaling $36,985.70. My customer service work required me to liaise with customers throughout Australasia to solve their issues. We worked to KPI's on a daily basis.

I am also an actor. I have played many roles in film, television and theatre. I consider my acting skills are very beneficial to my work. I was a Volunteer Fire Fighter in the New Zealand Fire Service I enjoyed being part of a dedicated team responding to emergency calls to help the community.

  • Meeting clients at their home to conduct a survey and get an understanding of what services they are requiring. I then have to put a proposal together, discuss advantages over our competitors and ultimately get the move booked in through follow up appointments & phone calls . This role requires me to be extremely organised and accurate as I am managing 20 - 40 relocation's all over the world at one time .

  • Performing magic shows and balloon twisting at children's birthday parties and corporate events in the weekends to 0 - 8 year olds, family & friends and their parents.

  • I would take inbound and outbound calls from potential students enquiring about online learning. It was my job to ask a series of questions to determine what type of course would suit. Once I have listened to their goals & formulated a course plan I would talk them through the Career Academy 's point of difference. While I was there I constantly achieved KPI's set and quickly became one of the top sales people in the company.

  • This involved team work to effectively carry out duties such as fire fighting, attending motor vehicle accidents to free trapped people.       Reliability and punctuality are essential to ensure that all members that are on roster attend all call outs assigned to them.
