Matthew Gates

Web Support/Farm Hand & Volunteer Firefighter

Technology has always been one of my biggest passions both in my personal life and workplace and have always believed in you should love what you do. I feel I would be a great fit for the job and my experience and willing to learn would be a great asset to the Annapolis Valley Regional School-Board. I have a educational background in information technology, specializing in web design. Ten years experience in the Nova Scotia Museum at the Ross Farm Museum site, the past 5 years involved creating and maintaining a very successful web presence for the museum. Working as a museum interpreter as part of my job also allowed me to develop excellent communication and people skills along the way. Troubleshooting and problem solving is what I enjoy the most.
