Company is well funded, has a track record of consistent growth and profitability, and is pursuing aggressive growth through expansion into additional markets and industries throughout an eight-state region in the U.S. Midwest, from its base in Hebron, Kentucky. The Position The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Company warehouse located in Hebron, Kentucky, and for providing critical operations and logistics support to the Company’s installation teams. The role requires superior organization, mechanical aptitude and planning ability. The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Company’s Operations Leader, and will be responsible to: • Lead implementation and disciplined adherence to 5S standards, and coordinate Team Members and activities as required, for the safe and highly efficient operation of the Company warehouse • Maintain and repair the Company’s array of electric and gas-powered floor scarifiers, grinders, jackhammers, concrete saws and similar tools and equipment • Receive in-bound shipments, and confirm each receipt with a signed bill of lading • Immediately prepare patch kit orders for shipment (with orders of 2 or more wrapped in plastic and on pallets) • Take timely and accurate weekly and monthly inventory counts of raw materials and supplies, and coordinate weekly with the inventory team to ensure zero stockouts of strategic materials • Train and assess Team Members in the safe operation of forklifts • Qualify drivers for safe operation of Company vehicles, and train drivers to complete thorough and accurate Vehicle Inspections • Ensure timely registration of all vehicles, and annual DOT inspections of regulated vehicles, to ensure full compliance with federal and state laws • Plan and oversee the disciplined maintenance of Company vehicles, in order to (a) achieve optimum reliability and lowest long-term operating cost; and (b) enhance the image of the Company • Research, bid for and/or negotiate, and acquire machinery and equipment in support of the company’s growth – obtaining advance approval for any purchases of more than $1,500 • Safely and lawfully operate Company equipment, including vehicles, forklifts, and other machinery and equipment • Work periodically on-site at customer locations, when required during peak demand periods (note: requires out-of-town travel) The Person The Warehouse Supervisor will be a self-motivated, high-energy person with exceptional organizational skills and a strong desire to help the company achieve best-practice performance in workplace safety, warehouse and equipment management, and operations. Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and self-discipline are essential character traits. Candidates will have strong communication skills and be fluent in English and, ideally, Spanish. Candidates should have proven mechanical ability, and experience managing logistics and/or supply operations. Experience in equipment and vehicle maintenance, construction, logistics and/or military service may prove relevant and valuable. A valid commercial drivers license (CDL) is required. Expertise in OSHA workplace safety standards in construction is preferred. NOTE: The Company’s warehouse, vehicles and operations are drug-free and tobacco-free, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
