Williamson and Maury Counties
Court Security Division: Protected state and county judges. Performed security checkpoint observation and searched all persons. Operated magnetometer and CCTV. Organized sequestered juries. Transported in-custody defendants.
Transportation Division: Statewide transportation of prisoners for court appearances, booking, medical calls, rendition/extradition, etc.
Patrol Division: Honored to receive the 2002 Stacey Dale Grissom Humanitarian Award for peaceably resolving potentially violent situations. Highly active in criminal interdiction. Enforced state laws, protected life and property, responded to various calls for service while patrolling roadways. Served criminal and civil process.
School Resource Officer: Selected for this sensitive position in a newly post-Columbine environment. Specialized emergency management preparedness training included hostage rescue, barricaded subject and active shooter/immediate response contingency plans. Developed lesson plans and taught/moderated classes for students and faculty regarding substance abuse, gang awareness and other legal and school/student safety issues. Enforced state laws, protected life and property and performed threat assessments.
