N&W Global Vending Group

Reporting to the CFO; member of the Global Management Team; member of the Wittenborg Aps Board of Directors; overall responsibility for all IT systems within the group (security, infrastructure management, application development and management, Helpdesk management, supplier management, web, unified messaging and support of the +1700 users). Participated in management level strategic and tactical planning and execution (activities included: company acquisitions, mergers, turnarounds, business development and restructuring programs).

Group IT Manager

Wittenborg A/S

Had the overall responsibility for all IT systems within the group; participated at the board of directors and reported to the CFO of the Private Equity Company who owned Wittenborg A/S. Main activities included Company Acquisitions, Mergers, Turnarounds, business development and restructuring programs. Additionally the job contained all major IT management disciplines like security, infrastructure management, application management, Helpdesk management, supplier management, web and messaging management.

Distribution Center Manager


Position: Change Management Consultant (1995 - 1997)

Reported to the Group IT Director and worked as a leading member in a project team who conducted a full business process reengineering throughout the entire group.

Position: Distribution center Manager (1994 -1995)

Established and operated the Danish Distribution Center, which included management activities for order management, invoicing, spare parts sale, warehouse operation for spare parts and finished goods, transportation and shipping.

Position: General Manager Transportation (1991 - 1994)

Had the overall responsibility for the transportation division, which included 80 trucks that were operated throughout Europe (included: department for transport planning, transportation brokering and mechanics workshops for cars and trucks); had full profit and loss responsibility.

Position: Project Manager - Business Process Reengineering (1990 - 1991)

Was overall responsible for a change management project within the company that included all major business processes from sales ordering, through logistic to customer delivery.

Position: Sales Administration Manager (1988 - 1990)

With direct report to the VP Sales, I had the full responsibility for sales strategy, sales planning, key account operations and sales administration.

With direct report to the Technical Director, I was responsible for technical contact to all suppliers of CNC-Machinery. Additionally, I had the responsibility for all CADCAM systems that the company sold.

Proven record of accomplishment as an Executive Manager in both European and North American markets. Highly experienced in all areas of Information technology and Supply Chain Management with practical knowledge from sales and production. Conducted change management and turnaround projects at both company and group level and participated in mergers and acquisitions ranging from due diligence to actual management and execution of M&A activities. Had overall responsibility for a larger project portfolio.


My objective is to work international at senior management level. The position can be a fixed position as well as an interim position. Have full permission to live and work within EU.

I have a home in West Michigan where I would like to relocate to and positions in that region will be a priority for me.

"Change" is a key word for me and I enjoy to drive changes leading the organization to new achievements and creating improved share holder value.



Project Management

Central implementation of a sales order and logistic management system connecting hundreds of flower producing companies with a central distribution center; pan European transportation satellite navigated planning system based on live sales order. Responsible for several group based ERP roll-outs which involved systems like Oracle JD Edwards, SAP R3, Microsoft Dynamics and Infor XA. Implemented a group management information system fully integrated into 15 worldwide located companies. Included in this project was standardization of corporate information structure and a financial Management solution.  

Strategy to Execution

Used Futuring Scenarios in long term business development work Created, implemented and maintained a strategy process which included strategy development, goal setting, execution plans, budgets and employee incentives.  

Restructure and Turnarounds

  Overall responsible for the Wittenborg Aps plant facility close down. Had the overall responsibilities for several change management projects which included business processes and organization from sales order management to transportation planning and goods delivery. Restructured the N&W IT departments from six departments into one centralized department, reducing department staff with more than 30% and still increasing IT operations and service levels Built a Nordic distribution center for spare parts and finished goods by integrating functions from sales order management, shipping department, spare part sales and warehouses for spare parts and finished goods.  

Mergers and acquisitions

Participated in the project management board in the merger of Wittenborg and Necta, which created N&W Global Vending Group, the leading pan-European manufacturer of food and beverage vending machines holding a 37% market share in Europe. Participated in the non-financial part of the merger and acquisition of SGL, a company that has been operating since 1976 in the field of engineering, production and sale of small espresso coffee machines being the European market leader. Participated in the merger of Wittenborg A/S and M Schaerer AG in 1998 and the divestment of M Schaerer AG in 2001.
