Maryann Sahoury is active in the northern New Jersey community, supporting a variety of nonprofit groups such as Community Blood Services, Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc., and the American Cancer Society. This philanthropy continues the work she undertook as Director of Marketing and Special Events with Parisi Fitness Centers from 2001 to 2010. In this capacity, Maryann Sahoury was highly involved in planning fundraising initiatives and raising awareness for local charities. Ms. Sahoury also worked with civic institutions such as churches, schools, and chambers of commerce, spearheading annual fundraising events. Maryann Sahoury’s duties with Parisi Fitness Centers extended to producing promotional materials that marketed the health club’s activities and offerings, to both members and the community at large. She coordinated the various aspects of the company’s online presence as well, serving as the go-to person on the firm’s social media sites. Maryann Sahoury’s activities were geared toward driving sales and attracting new members, while maintaining a sense of community among existing fitness club members. She also planned staff events, setting up quarterly and annual meetings, and arranging gift giving at the yearly employee holiday party. Maryann Sahoury completed her undergraduate work in Psychology at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, earning her degree in 2010. Ms. Sahoury contributes to numerous charities in her area, such as Toys for Tots, a United States Marine Corps Reserve program that provides toys to children whose parents cannot afford holiday gifts. Maryann Sahoury also supports the efforts of Second Chance Pet Adoption League, which finds loving homes for abandoned pets through weekly adoption events at its Morris Plains facility.
