Electronic and Manual Filing

While working as a receptionist for Dr. Pottle, I maintained both the electronic and hard copy files for all patients. I was responsible for manual filing for the lawyer I worked for at the Breton Law Group and regularily create and update electronic files for customers at Sobeys Pharmacy.

Cash Register and Point of Sale Operation

In my current occupation as a pharmacy assistant, I process many customer sales daily through a cash register system, While working for both Dr. Pottle and the Breton Law Group I accepted both cash and cheque payments, issued receipts, and processed debit and credit payments.

Switch Board Operation

While working at the Breton Law Group, I took part in a front reception relief rotation in which I would answer all incoming calls and transfer them to the intended recipient, announce callers to the requested lawyer and take messages when applicable.

Microsoft Office Suite

I am very proficient with the microsoft office suite. In 2015 I created and delivered a 40 hour office technology course in while we focused on many aspects of the microsoft office suite including word, excel, outlook and powerpoint. I was hired to create and teach this course by the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce funded through the Nova Scotia Department of Labor and Advanced Education.
