Develop and manage production calendars and direct the logistical flow of production from pre-production through post production. Controls the approved budget through all phases of production. Working closely with business management and account management during production process as well as all follow up through closing of job. Work cross-department to ensure work is completed on time and within approved budgets Manage deliverable deadlines and internal review processes Act as an internal liaison; facilitating open communication between teams(production, creative, acct management, business affairs, legal, etc) Provide statuses on all assigned projects during status meetings Consults with creative, account, research and legal staffs from inception of ideas through completion of production. Evaluates, solicits bids from, and negotiates with production vendors judged to be best qualified to handle the particular projects at hand. Works with business management, junior producers and account teams to submit cost estimates to client for approval. Manage and mentor junior production team members and create an atmosphere where they can learn by example and grow. Manage client relationships as they pertain to production and instill a sense of confidence in the process. This includes dealing directly with clients as well as any client third party cost consultants.
