About Marty Yang

Based in New York City, Marty Yang serves as both chief strategy officer for Healthshift, Inc., and chief marketing officer of BackOffice Edge, two business process outsourcing (BPO) enterprises that contract third-party providers in Southeast Asia to provide business functions for U.S.-based companies. At Healthshift, he is working with Cambodian government officials to create a business environment that will attract outsourced jobs to Cambodia and create attractive domestic employment opportunities for the country’s college-educated population. In his role at BackOffice Edge, Marty Yang directs marketing, sales, product development, and distribution channels, while utilizing data analysis to optimize the company’s overall BPO business strategy according to shifting market conditions.

Previously, Marty Yang gained extensive experience and cultivated broad-reaching networks in the outsourcing industry as chief operating officer of HR Outsourcing for six years. In collaboration with outsourcing providers across a broad geographic range, he directed employee recruitment and on-boarding, contributed to the ongoing development of training procedures, and oversaw personnel operations, including payroll reports, terminations, salary modifications, and leave requests. Earlier in his career, Marty Yang served for nearly a decade as president of Sunny Cal Overnight, and during the 1990s he traded foreign currency as an account manager for Mega Trend and New York Sterling Bank.
