Worked in Group Finance Development (GFD) on the merger between National Westminster Bank (NatWest) and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Specifically worked on the migration of the property and fixed assets from NatWest to RBS. This was considered to be two migrations but managed by one project manager. PI Consulting is the largest business unit within the Advisory Line of Service with revenues of $100M, profit of $30M and 300+ employees.As finance manager for PI Consulting my role was to business partner the Finance Operations with the Business Unit focusing on the financial management and health of PI Consulting. The role required that I effectively interact with different levels of seniority not only within the Business Unit but also within the Advisory Line of Service and the Firm. My responsibilities covered all aspects of management reporting including Profit & Loss (including commentary and analysis), controllable cost review, WIP reviews, budgets to forecast, debtor management, accruals and provisions.
