An entrepreneur who has launched successful businesses during her career, Martha Dressel is the owner of NewAge Steel, LLC, where she currently functions as President. Headquartered in Lumberton, Mississippi, Dressel’s company serves public agencies, schools, and businesses in the southern region of the United States. NewAge Steel has grown under her leadership, growing to include a staff of 12 and generating more than $1 million in sales each year. Martha Dressel received a Bachelor of Science in Business from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 1987. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dressel enrolled at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where she completed the courses necessary to take the Unified Certified Public Accountant exam. More recently, she earned a Master of Business Administration, also from William Carey University. In addition to Dressel’s extensive business education, she is a qualified nurse, having finished a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998. During her career in nursing, Martha Dressel filled an array of roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as the Nurse Director at the pulmonary floor of Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dressel’s prior nursing positions include Director of Nursing at Millcreek of Magee, a rehabilitation center for adolescents and children, Nurse Supervisor for South Mississippi State Hospital, and Floor RN at Ochsner Medical Center – Northshore in Louisiana. Dedicated to giving back to her community, Martha Dressel is a regular contributor to local political campaigns as well as to the elder care center in her area. A committed churchgoer, Dressel is an active member of the congregation at her community’s Talowah Methodist Church, where she donates time and money in addition to attending services. Her leisure interests include traveling, spending time with her husband and five children, and reading about history

Provided engineered, fabricated steel for schools, firehouses, commercial buildings for MS, LA, FL, Al, with 35 employees, gross sales over $1 million per year.

Responsibilities:  Manage and supervise all departments including accounting, engineering, fieldwork, and make sure safety compliance is held. Have about 12 full-time employees, growing fast. Liaison to all clients, oversee sales department and make connections with customers.
