A conscientious and enthusiastic student with a passion for Geography, specifically in relation to teaching and international development. I am able to deliver effective and professional services in a dynamic and fast paced environment with ability to take on board diverse skills and responsibility. Studied a wide range of river engineering projects and well practised in assessment analysis and report writing. Would love to work with students in helping them gain a more insightful and passionate view to geography and the world we live in.

Three months working at a summer camp in Washington State where I was responsible for training and looking after horses as well as caring for, supervising and teaching children to ride. I gained life long skills such as independence, creativity and adaptability to a new environment and way of life. Participating and leading group activities enabled me to display confidence and willingness.

Work experience in a professional services environment. Gained valuable experience in Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Resilience and Disaster Recovery. Participated in formal meetings and informal discussions with staff from a range of areas. Researched client issues, analysed information and summarised this on PowerPoint slides. Demonstrated reliability in all work ethics and punctuality in completing tasks.

GIS and Statistical analysis

Used GIS and ARCmap to create maps showing the best place for wind turbines in the lake district, as well as creating a map highlighting socio-environmental consequences for the new HS2 route. Also used SPS to test for various significance of specific health related data.

Member of the elite squad at Sheffield University Rowing Club as well as Novice Women's Captain. I achieved the balance with education through exceptional time management and organisational skills.
