Responsible- to reviewing , researching and appropriately adjusting tax documents and payments allowing them to post correctly to taxpayers validation.account Responsible to examining , researching and correcting batches , documents and payments that do not pass system validation Responsible to work a system identified list of errors , reviews taxpayer documentation and system calculations to determine the source of the error and correct the problem Responsible to identify and correct the source of the computer problems. Responsible to and will interact with other divisions customers and perform extensive research through all account periods and tax types to ensure accuracy when the problem is resolved. Responsible to research payments that have been misapplied which requires extensive research of past payments , credits and billing also requires cross tax type knowledge and understanding of the entire taxpayer account to identify where the money should be applied . Responsible for performing analysis on overpaid and underpaid accounts to ensue the accuracy of refunds and billing notices sent out to taxpayer.
Primary Responsibilities- Responsible research ,analyze and correct tax documents and payments that have failed system validation and ensures extensive analysis of past credits debits and other financial problem that impact an account and research covers extended periods of time and individually multiple tax types. Responsible to comply with taxpayers, practitioners and technical experts fellow employees and supervisions in work that require missing or inaccurate information allowing for taxpayers document or documentation is post to taxpayers account receive incoming calls from taxpayers relating to information why documents have suspended Assist in Collections with correspondence that we receive from taxpayer , Assist in License and Registration on renewals and address updates also are duties are to do daily reports and weekly reports Responsible to outreach taxpayers on daily basis by phone, email , fax and in person Assist in training temporary employees and DOR employees when needed willing to take challenge and learn new task and work appropriate and efficiently.
