  • OBJECTIVE: To secure a position that is challenging and can utilize my expertise in various position and can offer me ability and opportunities for advancement .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        JOB SUMMARY    Responsible for Reviewing, Researching and appropriately adjusting Tax documents and Payments allowing them to post correctly to the Taxpayers account it is also Examining, Researching and Correcting batches documents and payments that do not pass system validation Responsible to work system to identified list of errors,reviews taxpayer documentation and system calculations to determine the source of error and correct the problem Responsible to identify and correct the source of complex problems Responsible to interact with other divisions customers and perform extensive research through all accounts periods and tax types to ensure accuracy when the problem is resolved Responsible to research payments that have been misapplied which requires extensive research of past payments,credits and billings and also requires cross tax type knowledge and understanding of entire taxpayer account to identify where money should be applied Responsible for performing analysis on overpaid and underpaid accounts to ensure the accuracy of refunds and billing notices sent out to taxpayer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Primary Responsibilities   Research,Analyze and correct tax documents and payments that have failed system validation  this research requires extensive analysis of past credits,debits and other financial documentation that impact an account and research covers extended periods of time and implement multiple tax type and taxpayers, practitioners and technical experts that require missing or inaccurate information allowing taxpayers document  to post in taxpayers account and receive incoming calls from taxpayers relating to information why documents have suspended Outreach to taxpayers and DOR employees with professional customer service in person, by phone, via email and fax on daily basis Assist License and Registration with address verification and renewal applications updates and Collections with clarifying taxpayers correspondence letters to ensure information and notices are resolved Cross trained business tax all four tax types TPT,WTH,CORP,INCOME for division and files returns, scanning documents, copies of returns to prepare for storage help temporary staff and DOR staff when needed with no exceptions, always willing to take challenge and learn new task and make appropriate decision works effectively on multi task and special projects.
