As Vice President of Product Management I am responsible for product and solution envisioning, P&L creation, budget management and resource planning. I manage a remote teams and oversee development in multiple countries. I report directly to the CEO and report to the board of directors on a quarterly basis.

PFU operates as a small company with in the Fujitsu family of companies. We are located primarily in Northern California with offices in Southern California, St. Louis and Japan. I work extensively with our Japanese parent company to create understanding and acceptance of the requirements of the North American markets. 

I am currently overseeing the development of a document processing solution that will integrate with ECM and ERP systems, it is Cloud and SaaS enabled and has a 3 year road map defined. I am evangelizing the product personally with sister companies and key partners adjusting and modifying our partner and product strategies accordingly. I am negotiating and approving agreements with technology providers and overseeing all product related legal documents. I will direct and participate in the complete product launch and customer adoption phase.

In this role I have designed and implemented product origin and development processes, including defined milestones and acceptance phases.

Working directly with CEO, responsible for all business planning, research and execution revenue generating projects in adjacent markets and technologies. Including P&L responsibility. 

I conducted early adopter programs and market research in collaboration software space. 

Negotiated multi-million dollar minority investment in User Experience firm. 

Negotiated purchase of partner business; re-branded and relaunched as Fujitsu service including full Oracle order automation and back end reporting. 

Product management oversight of new software application development, including P&L, multinational development,  partner recruitment, sales management and launch activities .

Managed national team of 11 with partner relationship ownership across multiple product lines including ScanSnap and Fujitsu fi series scanners.

Elevated regional relationships with Ricoh and Toshiba to executive and international collaboration.

Led effort and achieved partner acceptance of new technology, displacing competitive software in 1000’s of installations. Technology was adopted and included in the box with 300,000 devices annually.

Implemented and launched multi-tenant public cloud software add-on to consumer ScanSnap product family.
