Mark John Vestal received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While working toward his degree and maintaining a 3.8 GPA, Mark John Vestal remained active in the outdoor recreation scene, organizing a number of wakeboarding and snow skiing trips for himself and his friends. After leaving California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Mark John Vestal became the Chief Executive Officer of Western Pacific Produce, Inc. In this role, Mark John Vestal directly supervises the business operations of this large multinational produce supplier located in Santa Barbara, California. As the Chief Executive Officer of Western Pacific Produce, Inc., Mark John Vestal is responsible for designing and executing high-level strategies to maximize revenues, taking the lead in vital corporate decisions, and overseeing the general operations and resources of the business. In addition to Western Pacific Produce, Inc., Mark John Vestal also owns a production plant in Valle de Santiago, Mexico, which he manages via daily communication. In his correspondence with the Mexico-based branch of the company, Mark John Vestal determines vegetable prices, reviews and controls produce inventory, and arranges for company financing. In addition, Mark John Vestal and Western Pacific Produce, Inc. work to import, develop, and market fresh vegetables. With offices in Fall River Mills, Santa Barbara, and Santa Maria, Western Pacific Produce, Inc. serves agricultural needs of many communities across the state of California. Mark John Vestal also owns a large commercial cooler in Mexico called Fresh Cooling, which enables him to import more than three million cartons of produce annually into the U.S.
