30 years of building value for my organizations by successfully selling, planning and delivering profitable information technology, business consulting and independent project development while leading and managing the organizations providing these services.

My specialty is enabling large-scale business initiatives with enterprise information technology.  I have provided this to global energy, financial services, courts and integrated justice, manufacturing, government and non-profit organizations building expertise in these business domains to complement my technology background.  Over the past few years this has involved work in business turnaround situations where these profitability performance management solutions drove hundreds of millions of dollars of net operating income improvement.

Methanogen (Fuels) Corporation

I founded this company as a supplier of alternative energy technologies in 1981 transitioning it to success as a computer value-added reseller (VAR) and software developer for Intel, NCR, Novell, Microsoft, SCO and other innovative database software products.  In 1987, I guided the corporate transition from public to private company (NET Information Systems, Inc.).

Methanogen built the first successful, commercial methane/biogas production facility in the PacNW for the Knutson family's 180 cows dairy.  The methane/biogas product was used to power the farm's producer/handler operations.

Key IT projects/customers included the first automated the catalog production solution for Eddie Bauer and an early, large scale word processing/corporate mainframe integration for King County Medical/Blue Shield (now Regence).
