I review the client's operations, whether it's in manufacturing, distribution, retail, 3PL, POD, or direct store delivery. Leveraging my diverse background, I identify the challenges that need to be addressed, and develop/map out a solution.

  • Pre-Sales Consultant - Present/demonstrate supply chain and DSD products including WMS, TMS, LMS, YMS, MES, Supplier Portals, Voice Systems, RFID, & DSD systems.
  • Identified major operational bottlenecks, costs etc., and how the proposed solution would affect these issues.

IMI BEVCORe Solutions

BEVCORe is a major distributor of service parts and equipment in the food and beverage industry, serving customers worldwide.

At BEVCORe, I led two teams through defining requirements for ERP and WMS, evaluating RFPs, demos and technology selections.  The results were remarkable, an ROI of less than 18 months for a multi-million dollar investment.  BEVCORe gained market share at an astounding rate (from 35% to 74% in just two years), taking a unique and innovated approach of extending the supply chain beyond the BEVCORe warehouse. Customers not only purchased products from us, they became part of the supply chain. This significantly reduced shortages, improved demand planning/forecasting and led to reduced inventory costs for both BEVCORe and its customers.

  • Promoted to this position due to my previous performance at IMI Cornelius (below).
  • Organized and implemented ERP system, WMS system, scanners, scales, supporting software, etc., resulting in significant process improvements, with substantial increases in productivity/efficiencies, which reduced our overall costs.

IMI Cornelius is the world's leading supplier of beverage dispensing and cooling equipment.                                    

  • Managed seven distribution centers throughout North America, implemented new technologies, streamlined warehouse inventory management techniques, organized and updated the process of distribution of product across North America. Working with various vendors to upgrade hardware/software and a total reorganization of stock and distribution techniques and coaching staff on how to use the new processes.
  • Was responsible for each customer service center (call center) and distribution center at each location.
  • Managed in excess of 400 people over seven locations across North America.
  • Worked with executive management to implement the new processes at each site. Investigated new technologies and software to integrate with ERP system.
  • Studied and incorporated trend analyses to constantly improve the distribution processes, including the development and implementation of bar code, voice, and RFID technologies throughout the distribution infrastructure.
  • Analyzed each distribution and call center, identified good and poor processes, and through a team environment, implemented the best processes across all distribution and call center sites in a pro-active positive approach.
  • Implemented training and mentoring programs, getting more managers and staff involved, eventually identifying even more process improvements.
  • Planning and implementing automated material handling systems including conveyors, carousels, voice systems, PTL, etc.
