Since graduating from Rogers State University in May 2011, I have had the opportunity to use the applied side and the academic side of my education in a myriad of opportunities from interviewing past and present NFL players, broadcasting Olympic and FIFA World Cup qualifiers, producing live commercial radio, and working with signal acquisition via satellites and encoders/decoders.
Previously, I have worked as a multimedia producer at Voice of America, a paid blogger with The Washington Center, a host/producer with RSU Radio, and a senior master control operator with RSU Public TV.
My core competencies include script writing, blogging, standups, pitching, anchoring, audio/visual non-linear editing, signal acquisition, video encoding, camera/prompter operation, board operation, client/vendor relations, network configuration, and content management. I have worked with industry tools ranging from Final Cut Pro, iNews, Adobe Audition, WideOrbit, Sundance, Telos, ISDN, Comrex Access, Marti/RPU, and Ikegami HDK77 cameras.
