Over the years, government affairs expert Mark Knouse has played key roles in the management of federal agencies, state offices, corporations, and nonprofit organizations alike. Recognized for his charity work as well, Mark Knouse has provided invaluable support to a variety of organizations that give services to the needy. Among his recent activities, Mark Knouse aided the Pennsylvania-based Marian Manor nursing home in obtaining the necessary federal, state, and local funding to repair and update its facilities and ensure the comfort and security of its residents. As a former resident of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Knouse served on the Board of Directors at Cook Children�s Hospital, where he brought in millions of federal dollars to fund ongoing research into bone marrow transplants. Aside from his philanthropic contributions, Mark Knouse currently operates as an independent government affairs consultant in Washington, D.C., in which capacity he manages all aspects of corporate / government relations for a variety of clients. Previously, Mark Knouse served as Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Commission for Labor Cooperation, Government Affairs Consultant for Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling, Vice President of Government Relations for the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of External Affairs and Secretary at Union Pacific Corporation and Union Pacific Resources. Mark Knouse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University.
