The responsibilities of this role includes
-Coordinating the promotional offers for Optimal Pharmacy Plus and Optimal Vision Plus stores with total sales of over $115 million.
-The facilitator in ensuring that a focused, consistent message and presence in the marketplace for both brands and how they relate and interact with each other.
-In conjunction with the CEO setting the strategic marketing direction for Optimal Pharmacy Plus and Optimal Vision Plus and a developed marketing mix to support this direction
-Liaising with printers, distributors to ensure that promotional material and store collateral is printed and delivered to the right locations on time and within a budget
-Developing, preparation, delivery and evaluation of Marketing Projects
-Coordinating and being a facilitator in internal and external meetings
-Providing Marketing and presentation expertise for the buying team in dealing with suppliers
-Working on Local Area Marketing campaigns for individual stores and catering for the needs of up to 35 stores
-Assisting in the management and development of Optimal Pharmacy Online and Vision retail websites
-Creating a CRM program to create efficiencies in communicating with our customers
-Developing a social media strategy incorporating all the key online media customer touch points
-Developed and initiated a business weekly newsletter that over 900 staff read
-Initiated and developed a store design template
-Developing strong relationships with our Retail Managers and pharmacist franchisees by actively managing and responding to their needs
-Developing and coordinating public relations initiatives including the Perth Baby Show.
-Managing a $1.5 million Marketing Budget
-Coordinating marketing services and merchandise to ensure a catalogue and marketing promotional program runs continuously
-Working with inhouse creative designers to continuously maintain and improve the Optimal Pharmacy Plus and Optimal Vision Plus Marketing Offers
-Developing relationships with suppliers in regards to new product launches & instore activity
-Working with key medical associations for approval of advertising and strategic development, these include ASMI (Australian Self Medication Industry) TGACC (The Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code Council), ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) and various state competition authorities.
