I have knowledge of software systems such as SAP, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION and Norton Ghost for business use and also knowledge of tools such as Photoshop, Virtual Machines, Android custom software and File sharing protocols.

I have learnt practical skills such as soldering at component level on circuit boards using both hot rework stations and soldering irons. I am capable of reading voltages, amps and watts using multi-meters to better understand problems with power.

I have excellent communication skills at face to face and remotely by telephone, email and remote connections. I hope to further my career in the IT industry and all things electronic. I am committed to work hard and achieve ongoing self-development.

I am a hard working and confident individual and have no trouble using my own initiative.  I consider myself to be an excellent team member and am interested in learning new skills in all areas that became available to me. Asset Data Team Operator


As part of SSE's Asset Data Team (ADT) I work within a GIS networking environment. My job role consists of gathering, entering, planning and managing the businesses electronic cabling data in a safety focused fashion in order to reflect the real world network. Alongside these activities I also log actions and assets against an RRD database and IBM's Maximo.

Junior Implementations Engineer


Starting out as a Technician with Omnico allowed me to learn many skills that propelled me into more technical aspects of the business. I obtained hands on experience and understanding of the business and was proven competent for promotion. In this new job role I performed various technical tasks such as patching existing computers in a customers network to the latest version of our in-house POS software, onsite visits to maintain good customer relations with pilot adoptions and setting up new stores onsite and remotely.

The customers that I have worked with on a personal level are HMV, National Trust and Burberry (domestic and Japan).

In this position I was commended for my stand out work and achieved recognition in the form of a 'Star Performer Award'.

Computer Build & Repair Technician


In this role I worked for DigiPos who are a part of a world leading POS provider, Omnico.

In the role of Computer Repair Technician, I maintained and improved on many skills in the aspect of repair. This encompassed skills ranging from soldering components to an IPC standard, individual board and part replacement, hardware issues identification, stress testing and software support.

Systems of repair included modular computers, all in one computers, laptops, LCD screens, touch screens, power supplies, tablets, scanners, cash drawers and printers.

Repair Technician


Working at the UKs largest videogame retail company. Based in the head office as a Repair Technician, this was my first full-time job role.

I worked solely on the hardware tear down, investigation and repair side of the business. The systems worked on were Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3, using specific in-house tools and procedures.

My main tasks included repair and refurbishment of inner components, fault testing, reassembly, stress testing and logical thinking to decipher the problem. Knowledge of health and safety while working, proper care of components by using an ESD strap as well as special clothing was required at all times. Working towards a deadline was something I had no problem excelling at and reached a high level of output on an ongoing basis.

Sales Assistant


Gamestation was my first means of employment of which I worked part time while studying at college.

While at this position I had many customer facing responsibilities as well as administration in the background.

Working the Thursday evening shift allowed me to be a part of the marketing environment by being the staff member who prepared the shop for new releases which went live the following Friday. This involved redecorating the store front, till area, shelves and trim of the shops to specifications set out by publishers.

I am an enthusiast of all things related to technology and computing, therefore I like to keep an up to date knowledge and collection of the latest hardware and software. I have invested in and setup my own Server with 15TB of storage in a RAID array, as well as building two of my own PCs in the last couple of years. In my free time I enjoy video games,  drumming, martial arts, *photography, movies, mountain biking and socialising with friends.
