  • Implemented new Master’s level courses and research in Modeling and Animation, Image Based Modeling, Rendering and Lighting; Supervisor for PhD thesis work in Image Based Lighting and Mobile Augmented Reality; Supervisor of over 20 Master’s thesis work in areas of special FX, computer graphics, image based rendering (that were associated with real feature film productions such as Day After Tomorrow, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Stealth).
  • Two spinoffs from the lab were created during my tender – Meqon Research AB (physics middleware SDK for console and PC was eventually acquired by NVIDIA) and SCISS AB which provides interactive visualisation of the universe in over 140 planetariums.

Meqon developed a new Physics SDK for the Games industry. The SDK was for Playstation 2, Xbox, PC, and future consoles. Meqon technology was acquired by NVIDIA and now part of the PhysX brand.

Kabel New Media supplied e-business, electronic marketing and e-commerce consultancy to leading brands  and companies. It had over 900 consultants and acquired Projector New Media in 1999.

  • Developed Multichannel Strategies (internet, mobile, set-top box) for the company. Part of the pitch team that developed and secured the multi-million euro account from E2Home (JV between Ericsson and Electrolux).
