Founder and CEO of a strategic policy and international trade advisory group. Logos assists clients to:  (i) assess and manage policy risks (ii) identify and leverage business opportunities in new markets, (iii) define a digital transformation strategy; (iv)negotiate complex public private partnerships with multilateral donors, governments and funds, and (v) develop sustainable stakeholder engagement strategies. Selected clients: International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) on assessing the impact of blockchain technology on emerging markets (see here),  large multinational in cosmetics, US hedge funds,  private equity in deal origination .

Chief Executive Officer American Chamber of Commerce in France                                                                                                   2010-2014

Led a major business organization with more than 500 company members(CAC40 and Fortune 500) promoting transatlantic economic relations and a policy dialogue with US, French and European authorities and business leaders. Results: 40% growth in membership, 160% growth in revenues and complete financial turnaround, re-branding image and positioning and creating a best practice within a European network of Chambers.

Provided strategic and operational leadership to develop a the Center's program, negotiated strategic partnerships and produced joint reports(World Economic Forum, World Bank) and secured fundraising of 3 million euros(Unilever) for an endowed chair.‘ Ambassador' of INSEAD in international fora and conferences. Revamped internal procedures and controls, supervised unit budgets and managed internal and external staff(consultants).

Examples of deals: Corus merger, sale of Lithium alloy foundry in North America.

Project managed the launch of the company's proprietary BtoB portal for the cosmetics industry

Country Officer-Colombia and Ecuador

World Bank Group-Latin America and Caribbean Region, Country Management Unit                                                     1993-1998

Managed the institutional relationship of the Bank with Colombian Ministries of Planning and Finance as key counterparts; Developed and executed a three-year investment strategy plan for the country and supervised the implementation of a 2€ billion project portfolio. Oversaw a 6 million USD administrative budget across a country team of 25 sector specialists (health, water and sanitation, education, private sector development, public sector modernization). Negotiated annual pipeline of loans (US$400m/an) with respective government agencies and regional governments For Colombia, developed the first fully participatory, WB country assistance strategy, liaising with the various civil society stakeholders, as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies, to establish what is now the norm for Bank economic and social development strategy (Comprehensive Development framework), particularly in conflict/post-conflict environments. Received the Award for Excellence from World Bank President Wolfensohn for assisting the government of Colombia in their sovereign debt currency conversion program Turned around Ecuadorean and Colombian portfolio performance to top regional performers (disbursement ratios and speed of project implementation).
