About Marie Napoli

A former senior partner with Napoli, Kaiser & Bern in New York, Marie Napoli earned her JD at the St. John’s University School of Law in the early 1990s and published the paper The Lord in the Law, Reflections on a Catholic Law School in the St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary. While actively practicing law, Marie Napoli maintained admittance to try cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and the New York Supreme Court.

Marie Napoli and her husband cofounded the law firm in 1997. Now focused on her family full time, Mrs. Napoli also served as caretaker for her husband after he received a diagnosis of leukemia and subsequently underwent a bone marrow transplant.

Her personal experiences with cancer have motivated her to help others with the disease. Among other initiatives, she raised $50,000 for the Bone Marrow Foundation by running in the New York City Marathon. Herself a breast cancer survivor, she participated in the Long Island Half Marathon as a way of fundraising for Cold Spring Harbor Labs’ research on breast and other types of cancer.
