As fashion editor I was responsible for the English product descriptions, some parts of the website and articles in the magazine.
Assisting with sales accounts in children's shoes and later on an Italian brand. This brand was new in the Netherlands and our goal was to place it within the Dutch market.
Searching and casting extra's for the entire season. Communicating with these extra's and making sure they never appeared in the season more than once. Furthermore, coordinating them on set and finally paying them.
During this internship I was responsible for several tasks such as maintaining the competitions on the website, updating the dj, location and hotspots database, and communication with clients for guest lists and prices. I also did several projects on my own such as a detailed map of all the hotspots in Amsterdam for Queen’s day 2006, which could be downloaded from the website.
During my internship in Shanghai I was responsible for contact with clients about quotations and pictures of products, I helped setup a new house-style for the company and also created several advertising campaigns for the company at the trade-show in Singapore. At the end of this internship I was invited to come to Singapore to the trade-show where I did direct sales with customers.
A post-course to the film academy in order to prep future applicants and see whether they would be admitted to the four year course.
Dissertation in PR and advertising. The course was completely English as were my two internships.
Propedeuse obtained and stopped course.
