Centre for Gender and Sexual Health Equity

Current doctoral research explores the impact of incarceration on HIV care and health outcomes for women living with HIV through a community-based research project in Metro Vancouver. Past research explored the lived experiences and sexual and reproductive health outcomes of young women sex workers in post-conflict northern Uganda. Study design, data analysis and development of research for publication and presentation at national and international conferences.

Coordinator of a multifaceted research project in partnership with the British Columbia Ministry of Health and Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions examining substance use services in the Province. Research Methods included systematic reviews, review of population data, expert panels, and focus groups. Collaboration and engagement with a large number of key stakeholders province-wide including clinicians and service providers, representatives from Health Authorities, community organizations and advocacy groups.
