During my Spring 2009 semester, I interned at the North East News-Journal. The small paper serves Erie's neigboring city, North East.

There, I wrote business profiles, answered phone calls and helped customers, and took photographs.

The Behrend Beacon

In September of 2007 I joined Penn State Erie's student newspaper, the Behrend Beacon. I first worked as a staff writer, not getting school credit. Then I joined the official class, continuing as a staff writer. The next year, I worked as a copy editor. I eventually became one of two news editors and also the Web editor. I am currently the paper's head copy editor.

I worked as a contributing writer and then staff writer for The Behrend Beacon, Penn State Erie's college newspaper, during the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semester. I still contribute articles.

I was the Head Copy Editor of The Behrend Beacon, Penn State Erie's college newspaper, for the Fall 2008 semester.
