Marcus Holder is a Photographer, Actor and Graphic Design student at Collins College in Phoenix, Arizona. He has 4 years of experience with Adobe Photoshop CS2-CS5 and 5 years of training as an actor. He also has his own photography and graphic design business in Glendale, AZ. Marcus' goals are to turn his passions for acting and digital design into life-long, fulfilling careers. Marcus has been studying acting for a little over 5 years, most of it being theatrical. In the spring of 2008, he received an AriZoni Award nomination for his role as Gary Fulcher in the TheaterWorks/YouthWorks production of Bridge to Terabithia. He later went on to play more advanced roles such as Max Steuer in "The Triangle Factory Fire Project", Leander in "Scapin", and Mr. Bratt in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying". In the summer of 2011, Marcus attended a talent showcase in Orlando, Florida where he was a top 10 finalist for Overall Best Male Actor. As of now, he is currently represented by the Ford/Robert Black Agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a Graphic Artist, Marcus was immensely involved in his high school all four years. Aside from creating promotional flyers/posters for the school plays, sporting events, clubs on campus, the televised announcements, and other miscellaneous events, he was the first student to have been asked to design the cover of the school passbook for 2 years in a row. More recently, he designed promo-flyers for "Fall Into Art", a benefit art show that took place in Laguna Beach, California. Other credits include flyer designs for his photography business, the second place design for a state-wide t-shirt contest for West Mec in Arizona, and more. As of now, Marcus is in the process of receiving a BFA in Graphic Design at Collins College. He is expected to graduate in the fall of 2014.
